The Gamorrean war axe was an inert, traditional precursor to the vibro-axes, such as the Arg'garok, later used by Gamorrean warriors. Nonetheless, the weapon was capable of inflicting considerable damage on an enemy.

When Revan was traveling in the sewers under Taris with Mission Vao and Carth Onasi, they ran into a Gamorrean gang that used Gamorrean War Axes.
