The Gardaji Rift was a region of the Outer Rim, within the Gardaji sector of the galaxy's Tingel Arm. It was surveyed and charted by several expeditions in approximately 229 BBY^[2]; sometime between then and 89 BBY, Zonama Sekot arrived in the Rift and settled in orbit around a yellow dwarf star in a system in a hidden region at the far spinward and galactic north side of the region.

Jedi Master Vergere first discovered the living planet during her mission there.
