"Ged" was the nickname of a clone trooper during the Clone Wars. He was part of the famed 501st Legion's Torrent Company.
Biography

Ged served under Jedi General Anakin Skywalker and Captain Rex during the Battle of Christophsis, where he was injured by a piece of shrapnel. Even with the injury, he survived the battle. Soon after, Ged shipped out with the rest of Torrent Company for the Battle of Teth, where he assisted General Skywalker and his new Padawan, Ahsoka Tano in recovering a kidnapped Huttlet. Unfortunately, Teth would prove to be his last mission as he fell to droid fire while defending the entrance to the monastery where the Huttlet had been being held.
