Geentech Corporation

Geentech Corporation, or Geentech Laboratories, was a subsidiary company of Chiewab Amalgamated Pharmaceuticals Company, specializing in droid development and manufacturing. They were known for their 2-1B series of medical droids. The company was eventually forced out of business by Genetech Laboratories, who sued Geentech Corporation after claiming the name "Geentech" infringed on the copyrights of Genetech Laboratories. Genetech won the case, although it was rumored that Genetech had the backing of the Galactic Empire. Geentech Laboratories was acquired by Genetech.
