A gel-bath was a small, portable version of a bacta tank, little more than a deep pan that one could submerge injured extremities in. The Millennium Falcon had one during Lando Calrissian's proprietorship of the vessel, left there by a previous owner. Calrissian used it to save his feet from frostbite after being left out in the lifetree orchards on Rafa V.
