Gelrood was a male Human pazaak gambler who lived on Taris. After winning fifteen games straight in the Upper City Cantina, he was accused of cheating. They confiscated his "lucky" deck and banned him from the cantina, forcing him to play in the Lower City. He claimed innocence and exceptional skill, denying the allegations of cheating.
He may have been killed in the razing of Taris that occurred a short time after the Battle of Taris.
