Gen Tiraan was a Human male who worked as a starship engineer.
Biography

Tiraan was born on the planet Chandrila and from an early age, developed a talent for starship engineering. He became an engineer for the Incom Corporation and was the youngest member of the team that created the X-wing starfighter. He continued to serve the Corporation after it was nationalized by the Galactic Empire, but left it after the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY.
Tiraan received job offers from various companies and chose to work for a shipping company, in the Corellian system. He also began to develop and a new and more efficient sublight drive. By 7 ABY, the New Republic had placed a bounty on Tiraan, as they wanted to offer him a job working for them and wanted to prevent the Empire from kidnapping him.
