Ghez Hokan was a former member of the Death Watch who later joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. He wore red Mandalorian armor with distinctive gray trim. He was kicked out of the Death Watch for his bloodthirstiness. He had a great respect for Jango Fett, and the fact that the clones were created from the DNA of Fett made Hokan unhappy. He was known to like the lightsaber he had acquired because it didn't leave blood on his clothes.

After being drummed out of the Death Watch Hokan found work as a chief enforcer for Neimoidian Lik Ankkit on the remote world of Qiilura. He wasn't fond of the job however, as his own men gave him more trouble than the share-croppers he terrorized. The drek of the underworld, his 'army' was composed of Weequays, Ubese, and whoever else Lik Ankkit could scrape from the bottom of the underworld barrel. They were stupid, drunk more often than not, and not above making some money on the side with the local Trandoshan slavers. Although he did his best to maintain order among his men, they simply weren't cut-out for it. Not even the sporadic executions of the stupidest ones solved his personnel problems. His boss was a major pain in the backside too, a petty bean-counter who fancied himself important and powerful because he owned the planet's share-cropper inhabitants. When the Separatists built a top-secret research facility on Qiilura, however, his luck began to change.
Hokan made a deal with the CIS that cut Ankkit out of the picture and gave him military control of the planet. He was assigned by the CIS to protect the Separatist bioweaponry research bunker on Qiilura and more specifically, Dr. Uthan and her research team. When Omega Squad arrived on the planet, his force was increased with battle droids and some organic Separatist lieutenants. Finally not having to rely on Ankkits' band of bumbling drunkards and thugs to enforce order. Hokan had them all hunted-down and executed. He led the search for the Republic commando force, not knowing it was a four man squad until it was too late.
When Omega Squad captured the clone-killing virus and Dr. Uthan, Atin and Darman brought both back to a waiting LAAT/i gunship, but Hokan's second in command came with a speeder bike and shot Atin with a high-powered Verpine weapon.
Meanwhile, Niner and Fi faced Hokan by themselves. Niner tricked Hokan by lying on the ground and pretended he was horribly wounded, screaming for his training sergeant, Kal Skirata. Hokan was about to kill Niner with a vibroblade out of respect, but Etain Tur-Mukan attacked Hokan from behind and decapitated him. Fi kept Hokan's armor as a souvenir of his Mandalorian heritage.
