Biography
Edit
Giaal Itotr was the creator of the paintings, Lucky Despot and Krayt Dragon Skeleton. At one point, he tricked an underling of Jabba Desilijic Tiure into giving him his money. During 1 ABY, Itotr could be found outside the Mos Espa hotel. While there, spacers would periodically meet with him from the city of Bestine to cast a vote for him. Periodically, he would win these votes, and his paintings would be featured by curator Lilas Dinhint in the Museum of Tatooine. Once showcased, copies of the artwork would be sold to buyers for 48,000 credits each.[1]
Behind the scenes
Edit
Giaal Itotr is a Non-Player Character (NPC) in the MMORPG Star Wars Galaxies.
In the game, players who speak to Lilas are instructed to visit artists across Tatooine. The players can then decide which artist they like best, and vote on the painting they would like to see showcased in the museum. Voting is held every 28 days, and the winning painting is sold by Lilas as a schematic. This schematic can then be used by the Trader profession, for making the actual painting. In the game, players are not required to vote to purchase the painting.
