Gibbs was a shape-shifter who had been hired to aid in the assassination of Senator Lavina Durada-Vashne Wren of Cularin. Posing as a Human, he infiltrated the ranks of Cularin's government during the Clone Wars and was put in charge of arranging the events which heralded the return of Senator Wren from the Galactic capital. While trying to throw Warlan Presvere Tosk off his trail, it would later be revealed that Gibbs was working with an assassin who had been hired to kill Senator Wren.
