Ginger was a Force-sensitive Human male chosen by the Jedi Order to join the Army of Light.

Ginger worked with the Army's cook and befriended Bug, while the Army was resting on Ruusan. It was Ginger who informed Bug that Tomcat had killed Jedi General Kiel Charny. Ginger was killed in the Seventh Battle of Ruusan by the Jedi traitor Darovit.
