Gobindi was an Outer Rim planet in the Noonian sector, with an Imperial bioweapons lab. Zak and Tash visited the planet seeking medical aid after Zak contracted a stomach virus. Zak was taken to the hospital and treated. While Tash and her droid DV-9 went for a walk, they encountered a blob, unaware it was hostile until it lunged at them and almost crushed the droid. This was their first encounter with the blob, one of the experiments in Borborygmus Gog's Project Starscream.

The planet was the source of Influenza necrosi.
