Godar was a CR90 corvette in the Imperial Navy during the Galactic Civil War.

Shortly before the completion of the Death Star I, the Godar collected some members of Bevel Lemelisk's design team from a meeting with Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin on Coruscant and was due to transfer them to the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Immortal.

The Alliance to Restore the Republic had learned, during a previous operation, about the journey and, in an operation planned by Hamo Blastwell, dispatched a Y-wing from Red Squadron, flown by Keyan Farlander, two X-wings from Blue Squadron and the Lambda-class shuttle Rescue 1 to capture the Godar before it reached the Immortal. The Rebels hoped that their capture would slow down the completion of the Death Star.

The Immortal launched TIEs to assist the escorting Assault Gunboats, but the Rebel fighters were able to hold off the Imperials while Farlander disabled the Godar and Rescue 1 conducted the boarding operation. After Rescue 1 captured the personnel and fled into hyperspace, Farlander destroyed the Godar before following the other Rebels.
