Gold Squadron was a Republic starfighter squadron active during the Clone Wars. During the early stages of the conflict, Gold Squadron's clone pilots flew V-19 Torrent starfighters. Later, toward the end of the Clone Wars, Gold Squadron pilots flew Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptors and Aggressive ReConnaissance-170 starfighters.

Gold Squadron fought in the Battle of Muunilinst, under the command of Anakin Skywalker. During the battle, Gold Leader was destroyed by enemy Nantex starfighters, though the campaign was ultimately successful. Later on, some how they restructured it, and it fought at the Battle of Rendili.

During the latter stages of the Clone Wars, Gold Squadron was outfitted with Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptors and commanded by Jedi General Saesee Tiin. During the Battle of Boz Pity, Tiin led Gold Squadron out of Intervention's hangar and into combat against a Providence-class cruiser above Boz Pity, in a diversionary tactic that gave Obi-Wan Kenobi's strike team time to land on the planet and track down Asajj Ventress.
