Gold Three was the callsign used by Ryle Torsyn when he flew with Gold Squadron during the Battle of Yavin^[1]. Torsyn was killed in the assault against the first Death Star.

During a simulation exercise to qualify for Wedge Antilles's new squadron, Voort saBinring used the callsign of Gold Three.
