"Gone With the Mimphs" is the ninth episode of the second season of Star Wars: Ewoks. Written by Linda Woolverton and directed by Dale Schott, the episode originally aired on ABC on October 18, 1986.

Plot summaryEdit

As a Hanadak is rampaging through the forest near the ewok village, Chief Chirpa gathers all the warriors together to go out and battle it. When Wicket asks to go he is told he is too young and is made fun of by Latara. Wicket sets off to defeat the Hanadak by himself. He ends up finding the Hanadak asleep by a river having gorged itself on fermented fruit. Wicket ties him up and tries to pull out one of its fangs for his Belt of Honor. The Hanadak awakens, breaks his bonds, and chaces Wicket into the river. Wicket escapes in some rapids, but hits his head on a rock and passes out.

Wicket awakens to find himself bound by Mimph warriors, and is put on display at the Mimph village. The Hanadak tracks him there and destroys much of the tiny village in one step. Wicket manages to blindfold the Hanadak and leads him off the top of a waterfall. Complaining that he was unable to obtain the large Hanadak fang for his belt, the Mimphs reward him with a minuscule tooth of one of their youngest warriors, which he had lost previously.

Wicket returns to his friends, and being so relieved that he is not "dea...Hanadak meat," Latara compliments him on his bravery as a warrior.
