Gormak mines were used by the Gormak race, native to the planet Voss, to strip mine resources. The Gormak built technological monoliths with these resources and left desolation behind.[1]
The Gormak were said to be a technologically advanced pre-flight culture circa 3,653 BBY.[2] The architecture of their settlements followed this technologically advanced style.[1]
