The Gorphs' grotto was a cave-like location on the Forest Moon of Endor where a tribe of sentient beings known as Gorphs lived. As of 3 ABY, they were ruled by Queen Slugga, who presided in her audience chamber within the grotto. A large number of hulking Gorph guards did her bidding there, as did her son, Prince Vork. Anyone Queen Slugga disapproved of was cast into a dark hole in her audience chamber known as "the pit."^[1]
