The Gos Hutta system, also called Gos Hutta, was a star system that was located within the Bootana Hutta area of the galaxy's Hutt Space region and lay on a hyperlane called the Pabol Hutta. The system contained three planets and several space stations, and it served as a gateway to the Bootana Hutta, being guarded by warships that belonged to members of the Hutt species. At some point in the Gos Hutta system's past, the Hutt clan leaders met privileged foreigners within the system.
The Gos Hutta system, also referred to as Gos Hutta, was a star system that was located within the Bootana Hutta area of the galaxy's Hutt Space region and lay on a hyperlane called the Pabol Hutta that connected it to the planets of Mulatan and Varl. A series of smaller hyperspace routes linked the system to the worlds of Kor Desilijic, Kor Oktanivii, and Kor Usilic. The Gos Hutta system contained three lush planets and multiple orbiting space stations.
The territory surrounding the Gos Hutta system had come under the control of the Hutt species as early as the year 22,000 BBY and was considered well-explored by 8000 BBY. Similarly to Mulatan, the Gos Hutta system served as a gateway to the Bootana Hutta, with Hutt warships being commonly sighted there. At some point in the system's past, the Hutt leaders of their kajidic clans met especially powerful or favored foreigners in-system. The local planetary population average of the region of space containing the star system around the year 25 ABY ranged from 100 million to 500 million.
Behind the scenesEdit
The Gos Hutta system was first mentioned in The Essential Atlas—a reference book co-authored by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, and published on August 18, 2009—which placed the system in grid square S-11. The regular updates of the Online Companion to The Essential Atlas also listed the same location for the star system.
