Grapple droideka

The grapple droideka was an early variation of the Trade Federation droideka unit used during their Invasion of Naboo. It was tougher than the standard droidekas but utilized weaker shields. The primary weapon of the grapple droideka (known simply as the "droideka," at the time) was its lethal mechanical claws. This model was similar to the P-series droidekas, which used deadly repeating blasters to more efficiently eliminate opponents and carried stronger deflector shield generators.
