Grav-cranes were a vehicle produced by the Tagge Company which were in use shortly before the Clone Wars. Condensation gathered on a grav-crane and dripped onto the Duros bounty hunter Cad Bane whilst he was working for the Bothan crime lord Akris Ur'etu attempting to kill a Jedi imposter hired to kill Akris.[1]
Behind the scenes
Grav-cranes were first mentioned in the short story Reputation written by Ari Marmell and illustrated by Thomas Hodges which was published in Star Wars Insider 136 in 2012.
