Gravik Nes was an ancient art of hand-to-hand combat. It consisted of mostly of direct hand and arm strikes associated with solid stances. When striking, the practitioner would shout or make some other verbal utterance to frighten their opponent and focus their attack. C-3PO was either programmed with this martial art or learned it himself. However, do to his improper learning or the limitations of his servos, the few times he attempted to use these skills were less than successful.
