The Gravitic Core was a part of Kul Teska's gravitic polarization beam that the Skakoan scientist built for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars. Bounty hunter Cad Bane hijacked it over Alzoc III, but Teska retrieved it on Ryloth.
