The Gravity Well Station was a type of space-based facility that was constructed by the Galactic Empire. It was used to stop enemy forces from retreating from the battle via hyperspace.

History

The Gravity Well Station was invented sometime before the Galactic Civil War by the Galactic Empire, and was used to stop enemy ships from entering hyperspace.

The Empire also used generators similar to the Gravity Well Station in the Immobilizer 418 cruiser and the Interdictor-class Star Destroyer.
