Grazers were antlered, herd-dwelling herbivores native to Ammuud. These six-legged creatures had shaggy wool coats and fed on scrub, rock lichen, and grasses. Grazers were bred for their meat, leather, wool, and oil.

Chewbacca once managed to avoid being trampled by such creatures by constructing a hang-glider from a dead pterosaur.
