Great Hunt (competition)

The Great Hunt was a competition for glory instigated by Mandalore the Lesser and later the Hutt Cartels during the Cold War. The first Grand Champion of the Great Hunt was Artus, who after the victory challenged the reigning Mandalore to a duel in the gladiatorial arenas on the planet Geonosis. He successfully killed Mandalore the Lesser and took the title of Mandalore the Vindicated. Akshae Shanka came in second a number of times. Jewl'a Nightbringer was victorious the year she was sponsored in the competition. Her win was noted as being exceedingly cruel, boasting zero live captures.
