A greatcoat was an a long overcoat worn by sentient beings.

HistoryEdit

During the Clone Wars, the notorious Duros bounty hunter Cad Bane often wore a greatcoat made of Nashtah leather. After the execution of Order 66, Jedi Knight Jax Pavan discarded his Jedi robes for an ankle-length greatcoat, which he wore over a vest and pants. Over a century later, Cade Skywalker also wore a greatcoat when he lived as a smuggler, bounty hunter and pirate. Other types of greatcoats included the Preter Jacket.
