An gription seam used gription technology to close heavy-duty bags and other containers whenever there was the possibility of spillage or contamination. Gription seams were used on body bags and waste containers, to prevent any form of transfer of viruses or other harmful agents.

Most notably, after her death, Ailyn Vel was put in a body bag closed by a gription seam.
