Groat chop was a dish served with candleberry reduction sauce at the Bistro De Lothal restaurant on the planet Lothal. The dish was available as the third course of a four course meal of the day which the eatery served for 125 credits, the menu for which was advertised on fliers the establishment produced.
Behind the scenesEdit
Groat chop was first mentioned in Star Wars Rebels: Rebel Journal by Ezra Bridger, a reference book written by Daniel Wallace and released in 2014. Groats were food animals mentioned in the 1997 novel Specter of the Past by Timothy Zahn and several other Star Wars Legends novels, although the journal does not clarify if there is any connection between groat chop and the animals.
