Grrandash was a Trandoshan Force Adept who worked as a pit-boss in the Prosperity Casino and Entertainment Center, aboard the Cularin Trade Alliance ship, the TAV Prosperity. His main job their was to ensure that people did not use the Force to cheat in the casino and he took this very seriously. It was his first legitimate job, but he took it up after being betrayed by a former employer. He was present in the casino during the Cularin Trade Show.
