Grutchin carriers were starfighters used by the Yuuzhan Vong. They were nearly identical to coralskippers, except they trailed 'tails' that bled grutchins and countermeasures. To get close enough, they were used in strafing runs on capital ships, often on suicide missions when the Vong would hold back other starfighters.
