The Guardstar was an patrol frigate in the service of the Imperial Navy. Stationed in Tatooine's orbit, it was present when the bounty hunter Boba Fett arrived from Bespin with the captive Han Solo. It attempted to intercept Slave I, until Darth Vader commanded the ship to stand down and let Fett land.
