Colonel Guarran was a Mon Calamari that served as the Director of Shipyard Defense of Dac during the Galactic Civil War.

A founding member of the Foamwander Five, Guarran was an early organizer of Mon Calamari Resistance to the Imperial subjugation of Dac. After the liberation of Dac, Guarran sought to play a larger role in the defense of his homeworld. The Mon Calamari military officers objected to his participation in the Foamwander Five, believing his skills to be that of a guerrilla warrior and his reputation to border on terrorist leader. Despite this, Guarran earned their respect and took a seat on the Mon Calamari Council.
