Gulli-ball stadiums were home to the Gungan's most popular sport, Gulli-ball. Hundreds if not thousands of Gungans would watch eagerly from the stands of the stadium to see their favorite teams whip around the Gullipud with poles. Gulli-ball stadiums probably also functioned as Nuna-ball stadiums. The stadium was lit with many light orbs that attached to the bubble supports of the building. A bubble was suspended over the field that displayed the teams' scores and time remaining. To signal half-time bogwings would be released.
