The Gungan Swamp was a marsh area on the planet Naboo. The swamp was of immense size, making it one of Naboo's largest regions. Despite its name, the Gungan Swamp also included stretches of grassland, mountains, and cliffs, and bodies of water such as seas, rivers, lakes, ponds, and tidal basins. The Gungan species claimed the swamp as part of its home.
