The Gymelo system was a part of the Bakura sector of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and Wild Space.[2] It contained the celestial body Gymelo. In his youth, the Human Bix Arden-Govia left behind his homeworld, the nearby planet Bakura, and signed on as a ship's boy aboard a freighter out of Gymelo, eventually returning home from his travels[3] at some point by 4 ABY.[4]
Behind the scenes[]
The Gymelo system was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square G-16.[2]
