Haggleday

Haggleday, or the Great swap meet, was a festival observed by the Jawa species, and the most important event on the Jawa calendar. Half-celebration and half business exchange, Haggleday would bring sandcrawlers from across Tatooine to rendezvous in the Dune Sea. It was here that the diminutive aliens would trade items, spare parts, and stories prior to the storm season. Even marriage partners would be arranged at these meetings.

Other bargain-loving species, such as Squibs, sometimes participated in Haggleday with the Jawas.
