Hala was a female Human slave on Tatooine. She was the mother of Amee, and was owned by Yor Millto.

After being taken in a slave raid by Krayn, she showed defiance to the slavelord, who murdered her and took a bell off her body to wear as a trophy. Anakin Skywalker would later recognize this bell.
