Halifax

Halifax was an Imperial CR90 Corellian Corvette owned by Overlord Ghorin, that supplied Emperor Palpatine with food. It was usually escorted by 6 BTL Y-wing starfighters.
When Ghorin's doublecrossing of the Rebel Alliance was uncovered, Red Squadron aided in the revenge. Halifax was disabled above Plooriod IV and she was boarded by the transport Storm, which stole her cargo while the shuttle groups Typhoon, Thunder and Lightning captured her escorts.
All ships returned to the Mon Calamari Star Cruiser Maria, while Halifax was left behind to be destroyed by Keyan Farlander.

Halifax has several historically connected meanings in the real world, including a town in West Yorkshire, England, the capital city of Nova Scotia, Canada, the title of Earl of Halifax in the peerage of the United Kingdom, and (perhaps more relevantly of all) the Canadian frigate HMCS Halifax.
