Halleck
Halleck was a wedge-shaped, medium-sized cruiser in the Republic Navy during the time of the Clone Wars. It was stationed in the Ventran system in the early stages of the conflict. It was equipped with a heavy-infantry clone trooper regiment, twenty armed landers, and six escort starfighters.
Halleck was dispatched to insert Jedi Master Mace Windu into Haruun Kal during Windu's mission to track down and rescue Depa Billaba. Sometime after deploying the Jedi, Halleck was attacked by Separatist warships lying in wait in the Gevarno Cluster. It launched a number of Jadthu-class landers, but many were shot down over Haruun Kal. Halleck itself was damaged in the ambush, but escaped via a hyperspace jump.

Behind the scenes
Edit
- The Halleck was possibly named after the character of Gurney Halleck from Frank Herbert's Dune.
- The image of the Battle of Haruun Kal from The New Essential Chronology indicates that the Halleck was an Acclamator-class assault ship and that its fighters were Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptors. However, the image contradicts Shatterpoint/Equipment in that it shows the Acclamator and the fighters engaged in fighting on Haruun Kal's surface as opposed to just in space. Additionally, there is no other source that depicts Delta-7s being flown by clones.
