Halmere was a High Inquisitor during the Galactic Civil War.

Halmere was a Force-sensitive who may have been a Jedi of the Agricultural Corps who survived the implementation of Order 66. He was imprisoned at Byss, under the eye of Sly Moore. When Darth Vader was sent to choose recruits to be turned into Dark Side Adepts, Halmere alongside three others, including Antinnis Tremayne, were the only ones that survived by giving in to their anger. Halmere's survival granted him the chance to be trained by Lord Vader as an Inquisitor.
Halmere was later responsible for the interrogation of Canna Omonda, the former Imperial Senator of Chandrila.
