Halomar Corros was a quiet man who often scratched his close-cut beard when problems arose. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, he was a General in command of the Rebel Reginard Base on the planet Reginard. He was known to have a holoportrait of General Obi-Wan Kenobi in his office. He welcomed a group of Rebels to the base who came on the Limping Lady carrying a data tape which contained information he used to log Imperial warships vital to the Rebel Alliance. As commander of the base, he was responsible for all of the base operations and so could usually be found in the command center monitoring banks of computer and tracking screens. When the Reginard Base's Chief Technician, Adonar Dellox, was discovered to have been killed by triflexia, Corros had the chance to introduce a group of Rebels to the command staff of the base. He explained to them that Dellox had been working on a passive sensor array when he died and, several hours later, he ordered all base personnel to report to the lounge for testing. When the group of Rebels offered their help to repair the sensor array, Corros was delighted and, when they managed to repair it, he was even more pleased. Because the work was finally completed, Corros asked the group if they wouldn't mind deploying the array on the other side of the planet. He explained to them how they had mapped the entire planet from orbit and found that the perfect place for placing it was on a bare hill which rose from the thick forest. However, when the Rebels were returning from placing the beacon, Corros contacted them to let them know that an unknown starship, which turned out to be Hawker Bryce-Kelly's ship, the Queen's Victory, and ordered them to investigate why it was heading straight to the sensor array. He later contacted them and informed them that an Imperial Customs Frigate had entered the Reginard system, most probably looking for Hawker Bryce-Kelly, and urged the group to intercept the ship to see what they wanted. Luckily for the base, the group managed to convince the ship to leave.

Behind the scenes
Edit
Although Halomar Corros was first introduced in Challenge 64, he was simply referred to as General Corros, leader of the Reginard Base. In a later issue of the magazine, Challenge 76, we were given Halmoar Corros, who was also leader of the Reginard Base. Though it does not specifically say that these are the same people, we can safely assume they are.
