Handa was a Cathar Jedi Master during the last decades of the New Sith Wars.

He trained at least two Padawans, Kiel Charny and Githany. He was angered by their affair, and his rebukes were part of the reason that Githany turned to the dark side. Handa was responsible for showing Githany the strong nature of the Force, albeit briefly, and helped her regain her connection to it when it had been lost.
