- ―Tolk le Trene refering to a wounded clone trooper just scanned with the bioscanner
Handheld bioscanners were a piece of medical equipment avaliable in 20 BBY during the Clone wars. The Lorrdian nurse Tolk le Trene used a handheld bioscanner whilst assisting Human surgeon Jos Vondar in an operation on a wounded Republic clone trooper on the planet Drongar where he had been fighting. The trooper had been injured by a grenade which had lodged several pieces of shrapnel into the soilder's chest during the blast, which Vondar removed. Tolk then used the bioscanner to confirm that no pieces of shrapnel remained embedded in the clone.[1]
