Handooine was an Outer Rim planet near Jabiim.

HistoryEdit

Originally known as Gwynhes, it was absorbed into Xim's empire as he expanded his borders from the Kingdom of Cron. After the fall of the empire in 25,100 BBY, it would eventually join the Galactic Republic.

In 22 BBY, Handooine served as a staging site for Republic warships, including one of the first Tector-class Star Destroyers, the Gibbon. While stationed there, the ship was infected with a computer virus by Separatist saboteurs.^[4] The planet served once more as a staging ground for the Grand Army of the Republic before the Second Battle of Jabiim in 21 BBY.^[3]
