The Harbinger was a large tank transport used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.

The Harbinger was used as a possible supplement for the transport forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, being smaller then the easily-targeted core ships and more useful then the smaller Vehicle Armored Carriers and the like.

CharacteristicsEdit

It had a variable-geometry turbolaser, eight twin laser cannons, and two large hangars on each side of it, which could carry many Ground Armored Tanks.

While it was slightly inferior to the C-9979 landing craft in terms of ground complement, it was superior in armor and armament. However, it had a fatal design flaw—if firing its turbolaser, any small vehicle could target the turrets and damage or destroy the vehicle.

HistoryEdit

The Harbinger was first deployed on Alaris Prime. There, during the battle, it was destroyed by Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi in their TX-130 Saber-class fighter tanks.
