Hard Currency was a four-part comic appearing in Dark Horse Extra #21-#24 which was published by Dark Horse Comics. Published March 2000. It was a follow-up to Crimson Empire II, and was believed to have been a lead-in to the canceled Crimson Empire III.
It was written by Randy Stradley, drawn by Isaac Buckminster Owens, lettered by Michael Taylor, and colored by Jason Hvamh.
Plot

The story consists of Kir Kanos in his guise as Kenix Kil being hired to kill a mark, with it in reality being a trap executed by Massimo.
