- ―Hardcase's last words during the Battle on Umbara
"Hardcase" was the nickname of a Galactic Republic clone trooper during the Clone Wars. He was killed during the Battle of Umbara.
Biography
During the Clone Wars the clone trooper known as "Hardcase" served with Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and participated in the hunt for General Grievous.[4] By 20 BBY,[2] Hardcase fought in the Battle of Umbara as a soldier of the 501st Legion. When the majority of the troopers believed that their new general, Pong Krell, was out of control, Hardcase felt that it could be fun and that the troopers could take him. When Fives, Jesse, and Hardcase disobeyed orders and participated in a rogue operation, he sacrificed his life to destroy the supply ship.[3]
