The Hassk triplets were roaming thugs led by Varmik that frequented Maz Kanata's castle. These triplets were near-feral subhumanoid beings of the Hassk species. They itched for trouble, but could be kept in line by the larger peacekeepers in Maz Kanata's castle. All three carried weaponry, one of them a battered VT-33d blaster pistol.[1]
Behind the scenes
Varmik first appeared in Maz Kanata's castle in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens. His two brothers can be seen briefly outside the castle during the First Order's attack.
