Hatchmate was a term used by clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars to describe other troopers who were born, or "hatched", in the same cloning batch on Kamino. Commander Mag referred to Flanker as a "hatchmate" of Shiv while they were stationed on Orto Plutonia. RC-1207 and RC-1262 were hatchmates.

Hatchmate was used as a familial term by the Barabels of Barab I to refer to blood relatives of their species.
